What Trump said

It’s easy to forget things. But some things shouldn’t be forgotten. So in case you’ve not been following Donald Trump news, and you’re looking back at his time as president and saying oh it wasn’t that bad, here’s what he’s saying now. “They said she had just this most contagious laughter, and when she walked into a room, she lit up that room, and I’ve heard that from so many people. I spoke to some of her family,” Trump, about murder victim Ruby Garcia who was murdered allegedly by her undocumented migrant boyfriend, at Grand Rapids MI campaign speech entitled “Biden’s border bloodbath.”

Mavi Garcia, Ruby’s sister, said “He did not speak with any of us, so it was kind of shocking seeing that he had said that he had spoke with us.”

HH: And so are you still 100% with Israel? And what’s your advice to Netanyahu beyond get it over with in a hurry?

DJT: Well, that’s all the advice you can give. I mean, that’s the advice. You’ve got to get it over with, and you have to get back to normalcy. And I’m not sure that I’m loving the way they’re doing it, because you’ve got to have victory. You have to have a victory, and it’s taking a long time. And the other thing is I hate, they put out tapes all the time. Every night, they’re releasing tapes of a building falling down. They shouldn’t be releasing tapes like that. They’re doing, that’s why they’re losing the PR war. They, Israel is absolutely losing the PR war.

If this Partisan Hack wants to put me in the ‘clink’ for speaking the open and obvious TRUTH, I will gladly become a Modern Day Nelson Mandela – It will be my GREAT HONOR. We have to Save our Country from these Political Operatives masquerading as Prosecutors and Judges, and I am willing to sacrifice my Freedom for that worthy cause.

“Many people have asked me what my position is on abortion and abortion rights. My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both. And whatever they decide must be the law of the land — in this case, the law of the state… Many states will be different. Many will have a different number of weeks or some will have more conservative than others and that’s what they will be,” he said. “At the end of the day it’s all about the will of the people.”

He said, ‘Wow, that was a big mistake.’ He lost his great general, and they were fighting. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys!’ But it was too late.”

“It’s a scam. It’s a political witch hunt. It continues, and it continues forever,” Trump said after exiting the courtroom…

He’s lambasted judges and prosecutors for years, a pattern of attacks that continued up to the moment he entered court Monday when he called the case an “assault on America” and said: “This is political persecution. This is a persecution like never before.”

During jury selection, Trump has heard himself described by those under consideration as racist and sexist and a narcissist. He’s been presented with social media posts calling for officials to “lock him up.” He’s been told, to his face, that he’s ‘very selfish and self-serving.’…

In perhaps the final indignity of the day, Trump was deprived of a fresh set of targets when prosecutors denied him and his lawyers the routine step of disclosing the first three witnesses they intend to call when they begin presenting their case, likely next week.

“Mr. Trump has been tweeting about the witnesses,” prosecutor Joshua Steinglass said. “We’re not telling him who the witnesses are.” “I can’t fault them for that,” Merchan replied.

Former President Trump said Friday [Apr. 19/24] that keeping him confined to a courtroom is “the only way” Democrats “think they can win” the 2024 election…. “it’s not going to work.”

Trump spoke to the press after the sitting in court for the fourth day of his criminal trial. “This is really a concerted witch hunt very simple. Everything you heard in there, this is a witch hunt by your worst judges, Democrat judges. You take a look at it,” Trump said.

Trump said there are “violent criminals all over the streets of New York” and said “nothing” happens.

On Saturday night (20 April), the former first lady [Melania Trump] hosted a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at her Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida.

The group describes itself as “the nation’s largest Republican organisation dedicated to representing LGBT conservatives and allies”… As of Sunday afternoon, there were few details available about the Mar-a-Lago event bar Mr Grenell’s post and a tweet from Ms Trump that said little specific about the group, its goals, or the Trump campaign.

She wrote: “As we look toward the future and the challenges that lie ahead, we must come together around the principles of liberty, justice, and patriotism. By uniting in our common goals, we can create a brighter and more promising future for all.”…

Ahead of her event on Saturday, Ms Trump gave a rare interview to Fox News Digital… “We must unite in our effort to establish a society where equality is the everyday experience of every American,” Ms Trump said. “Individual freedom provides a unifying set of principles, and ultimately establishes our American way.”

She added that when America succeeds, it “blossoms into a magnificent place where everyone can practice their beliefs, share new ideas, and express individualism — this is when we are our best.”

So far, Trump has been sending mixed signals on Ukraine, yet he was not in favour of spending the other billions on military support for Kyiv, nor were his most vocal supporters in Congress.

However, just one day after meeting [Polish President] Duda, Trump acknowledged for the first time that Ukraine’s survival was important to the US.

“As everyone agrees, Ukrainian survival and strength should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us! GET MOVING EUROPE!” Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social… On Saturday, in a rare show of bipartisan unity, the US House of Representatives approved long-delayed military aid for Ukraine.

Former President Trump came out swinging against independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Friday, despite weeks of amping him up over his likely November rival, President Biden.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump suggested Kennedy was put in the race to help Biden win reelection and claimed his running mate, Nichole Shanahan, is not a serious candidate.

“RFK Jr. is a Democrat ‘Plant,’ a Radical Left Liberal who’s been put in place in order to help Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the History of the United States, get Re-Elected,” Trump wrote, adding “A Vote for Junior’ would essentially be a WASTED PROTEST VOTE, that could swing either way, but would only swing against the Democrats if Republicans knew the true story about him.”

On Saturday night, Trump fired back at Jost and Biden’s teasing in an angry post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

While delivering a speech at the dinner, Biden poked fun at Trump, calling him “a 6-year-old.”

Former President Donald Trump says he hasn’t been falling asleep during his hush-money trial.

Multiple reporters from outlets such as The New York Times, CNN, and The Washington Post have said Trump appeared to be dozing off during his first criminal trial…

But Trump says the reports of him snoozing aren’t true at all.

“Contrary to the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, I don’t fall asleep during the Crooked D.A.’s Witch Hunt, especially not today,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Thursday. “I simply close my beautiful blue eyes, sometimes, listen intensely, and take it ALL in!!!”

Trump’s remarks came just a day after The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins it was “100% true” that he was sleeping at some points during his trial.

Donald J. Trump: “Happy Cinco de Mayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!” Although not from today, this speaks eloquently to what Trump, and Trumpism, is. The image, his words, the commenters’ words. Trump’s truth, if you like. He posted it in 2016. We really had no idea then what that truth was.

Trump said A LOT in 8+ years

A sampling from 35 days of Trump thoughts. Some are ok, some are outrageous, and some are just garbled. Whichever they are, they never stop. Donald Trump spent this past month in a courtroom in New York City. He also is campaigning for the presidency of the USA. There’s three more court cases coming up that he must be doing some preparation for. Plus his business and day to day life. I do pretty much nothing, but I do not have the time to post and talk that much in even one day, let alone every day.

He’s like a spigot. Some days just a trickle, and other days it’s a fire hose. But it’s never turned off. Entertaining? Often yes. But his four years in the White House were exhausting. Not just because of the endless flow of words, but because his words – and thoughts – have consequences. He’s not just your crazy Uncle Donnie. Donald Trump’s “they’re out to get us” causes people to take action. His crazy ideas, promulgated endlessly, affect his own country and the world, present and future. Four years was enough, way more than enough. (See my First Hundred Hours.)

And on the 30th of April, I saw this on my Facebook feed, shared by a friend. I ‘liked’ it, but I didn’t like it. It sent chills down my spine. It is too true.
